A Night of Silent Passion: Under the Neon Lights in Phnom Penh
This is the first post I’ve written for this blog, originally in Japanese for my friends in Japan. It’s one of my favorite stories, so I’ve translated it into English to share it again. Phnom Penh, the vibrant capital of Cambodia, is renowned for its stunning temples and rich historical landmarks. But for me, the true charm lies along the beer bar street by the Riverside. As the sun sets, neon signs light up, casting a glow that’s visible from afar, whether you’re strolling down the main road or weaving through narrow alleys. Outside the bars, young and pretty girls sit, ready to spend the night with you if you pay the right price. As I walked down the street, I saw a bar in the distance with lots of cute girls.
